Carpod Inc.

              THE VERSATILE CARRIER

When compared with other cargo carriers in the market today Carpod is superior in many ways. Rooftop and hitch mounted cargo racks, bags, and boxes all have limited capabilities.

                           CARPOD                             VS.              Other Carriers

Cargo may be securely stacked up to 22” high

It is extremely difficult to stack different cargo shapes and secure them

Can easily carry a variety of shapes, sizes and weights e.g. two bicycles,

Not having side-walls to contain cargo limits the user to carry only large pieces of cargo so it will be easier to tie down

Cargo volume capacity of 13¼ cubic feet

Limited cargo capacity due to height limitations

Netting or tie downs are not always necessary

With most carriers, cargo nets and tie downs are a must, and some users are not adequately repaired to use them

Lockable lid and water resistant bag available to secure cargo

Securing cargo with a lid or a bag may not be possible

Stores easily in 5¼" high by 48” wide space

Box carriers require a large storage space when not in use

Weight capacity of 450 lbs

Limited weight capacity e.g. 150 lbs

Saves fuel cost when cargo does not create any wind drag

Having cargo on the roof creates wind drag which substantially lowers fuel economy

4 corner reflectors for night-time visibility

Reflectors my not be available with some carriers

Welded one-piece base frame and thicker steel tubing for added strength and stability

Poor quality, thin tubing, and multi piece construction
